St. Vincent De Paul Society
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm in the Parish Lounge.
St. Vincent de Paul Society meets with those in need on Friday mornings at 10:15am in the Brides Room. If you are in need or know of someone in need, please call the parish office, 662-4569.
If you are in need of assistance during the week, Sister Maria Elena is in the parish office Monday through Friday from 9am-1pm.
This school year, St. Joseph Church will be participating with 20 other area churches and a service club in the “Packing Friendship” program. “Packing Friendship” is an outreach program that provides a weekend supply of food for students who are at risk of going hungry over the weekend during the school year. Last year 369 students were served by the program. This year we will be delivering 23 bags of HEALTHY,NON-PERISHABLE food every week to Lewis and Clark school. Donations of designated food products can be made starting on MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY and continue throughout the school year.
We are asking for donations of the following items:
-4 oz. unsweetened applesauce or fruit cups
-small boxes of raisins
-instant oatmeal packets
-boxed milk (8 oz. non-refrigerated)
-6 oz. 100% juice boxes
- individual packages of crackers and cheese spread
-individual packages of crackers and tuna spread
-healthy granola bars and breakfast bars
-individual cans of Beanies and Weenies in easy open can
-individual packages of dry hot cocoa mix
-cans of chili, ravioli, spaghetti with meat balls
-cans of tuna or chicken
- cans of soup
NO PEANUT PRODUCTS PLEASE.
